Acupressure & Alternative Medicine
Basic science explains that all objects living or not have a unique vibrational frequency. When this frequency is altered the energy flow recognizes the changes in different ways positive flow: feelings such as love, joy, happiness, negative flow: pain, grief, fear, disease, anger, etc. As far back as studies show humans and animals instinctively have been attracted to plants and minerals they needed to heal themselves, and restore the natural energy flows, including how to adjust themselves through calisthenics, yoga type moves, stretching, and even a light sleep or meditative state.Today and many years after the natural healing processes have been swept under the rug, people are beginning to pick the rug up and re-evaluate these remedies and techniques.
It is amazing that the practitioners of these age-old techniques are the ones who are scrutinized and have to prove themselves more than the formally educated of today!
Reiki Healing
Reiki Healing is an all-natural practice to regenerate and replace the interrupted energy field of a body caused by disruptions and/or blockages in the flow. Reiki “reboots” the flow supply regenerating the organs and cells of the body. A Reiki Healer sees many different problems, difficulties, illnesses, etc., and most of the time as a last resort. The process can be as simple as relaxing and releasing the obstacles causing the issues. Some believe that there is a spiritual factor along with the healing. These feelings come from within and cannot be given. Everything flows naturally and each has their own evaluation of the session. For some it is very strong even having miracle effects. For others it may be more subtle and in a gradual way. It can take one hour or may be over a period of days as the healing process completes, seeing improvement over time pain reduces, over all feelings of confidence, contentment, trusting, hopeful, peace, joy, accomplishment, and a spiritual presence. Note: There are many interpretations of the Reiki Practice yet the basics are the same. Reiki – Rie meaning Universe, Ki meaning Life Force, was discovered by a Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s in his quest to learn the healing techniques of those used in the ancient times. He developed the Reiki Practice used by many today.
Definitions:
Acupressure is an ancient healing art or technique originated in China about 5000 years ago. It is based on the principles of acupuncture, instead of using needles direct pressure is applied with fingers and hands. This massage/pressure “wakes up” and activates energy flow re-establishing the vibrational frequency's pattern relieving an array of physical and mental issues.
Alternative Medicine is a practice using non-traditional methods other than current medical or conventional methods, also called "Complementary Medicine". Practices may be based on belief systems or philosophies and incorporate spiritual, metaphysical, pre-modern traditions, or newly developed methods. Often a new and effective alternative approach is adopted by conventional practitioners and no longer considered “alternative”.
